Japanese antique wisteria branch handle with branch also at the rim of the basket opening. The branch has great texture with it's knobs and twists. Alternating wide flat bamboo with narrower bamboo slats on a bulbous body, ending in a circular base.

Antique Japanese netsuke in the form of a fudog. Carved of boxwood, the fudog leans on a ball. With eyes wide and mouth open, his mane flows down his back. He curls his body around the ball, gripping it in three paws while balancing on his back leg. Age and use have added an appealing smooth quality of the netsuke.

An antique Japanese bronze Buddhist temple bell called Bonsho with a carrying handle depicting diverging dragon heads called Ryuzu. The upper protrusions called Chi or Nyu improves the resonance of the sound when struck. Two opposing striking panels called Tsuki-za is the point on the bell where the best and longest sound is achieved. A bell of this size was hung in a neighborhood temple to summon the monks to prayer.

Antique Japanese blue and white studio ware porcelain container. Made with 6 sides and a flared base. The sides are decorated with a scene of misty mountains and a small village. Small figures in a boat pole along a river which runs under a bridge and weeping willows.
