Chinese Song dynasty conical form bowl with slightly flared rim covered in a pale blue-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the flat, unglazed low foot. Fine comb incised abstract swirling patterns are faintly visible in the interior. Nearly 6 1/2” diameter x 2 3/8" high. Circa 13th century. Very good overall condition. There several tiny frits along the edge of the rim. From the estate of Gerhard Lohmeier, a Diplomat at the German Embassy in Beijing from 1985 to 1989.

Chinese Song dynasty shallow bowl covered in a pale finely crackled gray-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the unglazed slightly recessed low foot. This saucer-dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). Its inner surface and outer wall are coated in a very finely-crackled pale qingbai glaze that has just a hint of green. This beautifully lobed dish was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) and has the simple stylishness typical of Song Qingbai porcelains.
