This is a wonderful little censer from one of the great Meiji era satsuma artists. This beautiful piece glows with quality and is like looking at a fine jewel. Signed Shizan on the underside and the remains of an import sticker can still be seen. Condition is excellent. It measures 3 tall and is 3 1/4 wide.

This is a very attractive Japanese Imari bowl. For an old Imari piece it is in excellent condition. It is also a very heavy piece potted. The bowl measures 8 1/2 inches across and 4 inches tall.

A gorgeous Japanese framed silk hand-embroidered fukusa (gift-wrapping or tea ceremony cover), with the image of Jurojin, one of the Seven Lucky Gods. He holds his attributes, a staff and a fan. A crane, tortoise, and a deer accompany him, all of which are symbols for longevity. The detailing is very careful and breathtaking such as the glass eyes of the crane and deer. This is a wonderful bright and colorful wireless cloisonne vase from Kumeno. The vase actually looks more like porcelain than cloisonne enamel. It has a pleasing stout form and is in excellent overall condition with some rim oxidation/wear. It stands 6 inches tall and is 5 inches wide.

This is a very fine Japanese cloisonne vase from the 1890's. The work is good enough to be Hayashi. The vase is rather large at 9 1/2 inches and loaded with fine detailing. It is not perfect and the price reflects this. At one time it was a lamp. The drill hole was nicely filled but there are several craze lines around the vase. The rims appear to be silver or nickle. This is a beautiful rare piece of cloisonne.

This is a beautiful small cloisonne vase decorated with with 7 butterflies of different sizes. Stands 4 3/4 inches tall. It is stamped Japan on base so it was probably made sometime between 1920& 1930. The enamel colors and style look like a few Ando pieces we have had from this time period. Condition is excellent with just wear to the rim coatings

This is a beautiful complex wire and wireless Japanese cloisonne vase. Though it is not signed, it was made by Gonda Hirosuke during the Meiji Era, circa 1910. All pieces like this we ever seen signed have been signed Gonda. Very few of these wireless fish vases were made by Gonda. The vase is in excellent condition and has silver rims. It was created before Japan began stamping rims with the "jun gin' silver mark in the early 1900's. It stands 7 inches tall and is 7 inches wide.

This is an exquisite example of Japanese Cloisonne mounted on a silver-plated form. As the images show, The wire and wireless enameling are superb. Condition is also outstanding. It stands 8 inches tall and is 7 1/2 inches wide. We never seen another like this one.

The shape of this oval Japanese Arita dish derives from European forms. The combination of colors (Celadon and blue & white) is known to be produced from 1780 – 1820, a late Edo example. The dimensions: 7 1/2" x 6"

This is a special piece of Meiji Era Cloisonne Art. The jar is covered with colorful butterflies flying against a very dark blue/black enamel background. The jar measures 4 1/4 tall by 3 5/8 inches wide. Condition is outstanding but not perfect due to a very tiny blemish. The blemish can be seen in the first image next to the flash reflection.
