In unique russet glaze, the caddy was exemplified the excellent decorative art of Cizhou wares. Date: Yuan Dynasty 13th century. Height:15cm Width:13cm An identical jar was found in a Yuan tomb painting (Tea ceremony 備茶圖).(see last picture) A custom-made cotton box is included.

Using a special organic process to “ferment” powdered ore used in the clay, they then fire the hand molded pieces under extreme heat to produce bowls they call “Chibori.” The Chibori bowl featured here is inspired by works of Chojiro—forbearer of the Raku line of potters and collaborator with legendary tea master Sen no Rikyu.

Found in the Philippines.
Featuring a ribbed ovoid shaped body, topped with a rounded cover with undulating edges. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze and its base is fully glazed, except for the foot-ring.
Measurements: height (4.5"inches).
Condition: in perfect condition with glossy glaze. No cracks, no chips, and no restorations.

Featuring a small ovoid shaped body, topped with a flat rounded cover and is covered overall in a green celadon glaze with iron-brown spots, except for the foot-ring.

The moulded body, each side decorated with a central roundel of flowers surrounded with a pair of bats and a Shou character. $600.00 A Chinese White Glazed Water-Dropper with Pigeon. Circa 12th-14th Century, Song-Yuan Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
This water-dropper features a qingbai-type glaze that covers its entire body and stops short of its foot. Two loop handles sit on its shoulders and its neck is decorated with carved circles. A figure of a pigeon rests on top of the vessel and its base remains unglazed. This vessel was probably used by scholars for pouring water to wet ink, used for calligraphy.
