Persian Sarouk Ferehan rug floor covering. Inside boarder ban with deep blue tones. Soft pink pastel tones transition into an off white beige coloring around the center medallion. Made of 100% hand woven wool. Overall in beautiful original condition, ready to be enjoyed.

A Persian small brass or bronze box and lid from the Qajar period, 19th century. Of square shape with indented corners and exquisitely engraved with flowers and birds. A small circular reserve indicates which side of box and lid respectively are meant to fit into each other. Width "2 1/2 / 6.5 cm, height "1 2/3/ 4.2 cm. Condition: fine.

Two strands of colorful and quirky glass bangle fragments drilled and reworked into beads. These are Persia, circa 6th CE - 7th CE which would make them late Sassanian Empire or early Islamic Era. This type of object was a teardrop intended to receive the tears of ladies when their husbands went to war. The almond shape of the edge adapts perfectly to the eye.
