Although similar vessels were made by various Chinese Neolithic cultures, we believe this particular example to have been made by potters of the Qijia Culture (c. 2050 - 1700 BC). An extremely rare Celadon censer standing on six legs and with connected stand, moulded three sheep heads to lobed body. Covered overall with bluish green glazed and the base with five small spur marks indicated normally as possibly Northern Song Dynasty Ru Ware found at Indonesia archipelago. Condition with a short firing crack above the foot and no any chip, no any other crack and free from any restoration. Height: 16,5 cm.
