Chinese White Jade Carving Pendant & Ring Silver Necklace,19th Century

It is 18.5 inches (47 cm) in circumference. The pendant is 2 inches (5.1 cm) long by 3 inches (7.6 cm) wide and 5.5 mm thick. The ring is 16 mm- 18.2 mm diameter by 3.6 mm - 6.2 mm wide. The total weight is 104.5 gram.

It has flea bite chips and inclusions at the jade, and tarnished at the metal ring and clip (as seen in the photos).

Antique Chinese jade lidded box in rectangular form on four cylinder legs. Carved with highly raised relief designs of archaic motifs featuring lion heads, key frets and scrolling chimera. Antique Chinese table screen made of serpentine from the Nangyang region. In two separate pieces: the picture slab of prized serpentine is framed in Huanghuali which sits into a carved frame. Valued for it's undulating natural snake-like layers, this serpentine screen once sat on a scholar's table. There, it could be admired and pondered for it's beauty.

A brush pot (Chinese: 笔筒; pinyin: bǐtǒng) is a container for holding the brushes used by scribes for Chinese calligraphy. These are typically carved from bamboo or jade with ornate motifs symbolizing concepts such as longevity...

A beautiful Chinese stone carving in the shape of a tripod censer on a fitted pedestal, the exterior with high relief of lotus flowers and a pod. Carved from agate, a grey stone with some brownish and green inclusions. Condition: fine. Dimension: total height: c. 11.2 cm, diameter: c. 11 cm, weight: 1145 g.

A well-carved nephrite jade plaque depicting a coiled, sinuous dragon paired with a phoenix and spiral-incised "bi" disc. The phoenix and "bi" disc have been covered with a gold lacuer gilding. Intricate, flowing spiral decoration covers the dragon's body and the disc. The piece measures 3-3/4" end to end and is, as best I can tell, made entirely without the use of modern cutting tools...

DESCRIPTION: A Chinese celadon jade pendant, both sides well carved in the form of an archaic mask and strung on a black nylon cord with a round celadon jade bead. Such amulets have a long history in China and would have been worn as a mystical protector against all unseen evil and bad luck.
