The figurine is marked "CHINA" on it's flat base. The dog measures about 7 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent with thickly applied enamels. The asking price includes free shipping within the USA.

Large Chinese Ming / Yuan Dynasty Longquan Celadon Porcelain Dish with Peony Pattern
This large and "heavily-potted" dish was made in the 14th century at one of the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province, during the Yuan (AD 1279 - 1368) or early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is the archetypal large Longquan celadon dish, an example of which should really be in every serious collection of Chinese ceramics. It has a fluted cavetto and a carved peony in its centre...

The glassure is covered with enamels of the rose family. It is rare to encounter this type of porcelain Divinity of very small size. The Iron red is of the best colour.
A lack of glaze on the tip of the nose and a crack on the right cheek,look photo. No restauration.
