Sold A very rare Chinese blue and white pouch-shaped porcelain vase, 18th century, probably Qianlong period. The vase is in excellent condition, the only flaw is a short (approximately 3/8" long) kiln crack inside the rim, please see enlargement #5 for detail. Height of the vase: 8".

Chinese Republic period porcelain plaque decorated in famille rose enamels with the eight immortals standing outdoors under a pine tree with bats flying overhead. Produced by the Jiangxi Porcelain Company at Pearl Mountain and dated 1924. Nice quality wood frame. Porcelain measures 15 1/8" x 9 7/8" (with frame: 16 3/8" x 11 1/4"). Very good overall condition. There are tiny brown scattered spots in the glaze from the original production...
Massive Chinese Qing dynasty baluster form lidded general’s helmet jar decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with a Yuan inspired pond scene of ducks swimming among lotus. A ruyi-head border and four animal mask handles are high on the shoulder below the short neck. A lappet band extends around the tapering foot. The slightly recessed base is unglazed. SOLD An antique pair of Chinese vases with lingzhi mushroom outcrops on a craggy rock platform. The lingzhi mushroom is a symbol of longevity and health. The platform could display an object. These wares originated out of kilns in the Shiwanzhen sub-district within the city of Foshan, going as far back as the Neolithic period. Each vase is pigmented with custard yellow and aubergine.
Date: Late 18th to Early 19th Century Dimensions: 11" tall X 9" X 6" deep A pair small Chinese porcelain jars with lids, each decorated with two foo dogs among peony flowers and scrolls in the "wucai" palette with underglaze blue. Bases without glaze. Rare to find a pair with matching lids and with so fresh colors. Including two later reticulated wooden stands. Dimension with lid: 14.3 cm high, on stand: 17.3 cm high. Condition: one cover with glued area and rim chips. One jarlet with minor kiln dust and the other jar with negligible rim fritting...
