SOLD Set of two (2) Chinese porcelain tea cups decorated with blue linear designs and flowers in shades of red, blue, and greenish yellow with long stems and pretty green leaves. The inside bottom of each cup has an orange flower between two yellow flowers within a blue ring. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi" or "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made".

SOLD Chinese blanc de chine porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion. Her name is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "Observing the Cries of the World." She stands upon strong, rolling winds and holds a lotus flower in her left hand. The statue is hollow and is pierced through her ears, eyes, and nostrils.

The bottom of the box has crashing waves and a large fish sticking its head out from the water. The bottom of the box is marked Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi, "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make". The white spots seen on the box are a reflection of the box's textured surface.

£345.00 The design of butterflies and melons is seldom encountered on Chinese porcelain, found only on a few Qianlong pieces. This shaped dish I feel is from the early 19th century but the ‘orange peel’ surface of the porcelain is often found on Qianlong export pieces. Like the Qianlong painted melons these have a pronounced ‘spotting’ in either famille rose or gold enamel on the fruits.
Approximately 20.6cm across, 6.4 cm high...

SOLD A large shiwan (shekwan) sculpture of an Aesthetic riding a pomegranate red foo lion. The glaze is thick and glass-like with a natural crackle that only comes from age. The clay’s color and some ash residue (a good thing) indicate that this piece was fired in a dragon kiln about 5 - 15 miles upstream from Foshan.
The Immortal’s robes are glazed with a rich translucent celadon color. There are two peaches at his side and he is holding a single peach in his upright hand...
