Wonderful and complete sculpture of Padmavati, a Hindu goddess who is worshipped as an aspect of the goddess Lakshmi, but who also plays an important role in Jainisme as the protecting goddess of the 23rd Tirthankara. (note the Tirthankara figure on her forehead. H. 22 cm (9 inches). Condition: excellent, nice wear due to intensive worshipping (Puja). Original back plate. Provenance: private collection Belgium.

A punch dagger with tapering double edged steel blade, each face decorated with a four-armed deity. Straight handle with double-grip, decorated on the side with flowers. Sheath made of wood with velvet lining. Condition: tip slightly chipped, sheath with losses. Some flash rust. Dimension: 44.6 cm long, 7.4 cm wide.

A globular shaped Indian waterpipe base made of zinc alloy, the body decorated with vegetal motifs, inlaid in silver and brass. Condition: inlay losses, bottom with old repair. Dimension: 16.8 cm high, weight: 1160 g.

Very rare and early piece, nicely cast, finely engraved and with a good patina. The Krishna figure has two silver bracelets on each arm. H. 24 cm. Condition: left index finger restored. An extremely rare set of bronze figures depicting Krishna and his wife Radha. Very well proportioned and extremely finely engraved. Made in Orissa, India in the 17th or 18th century. Krishna is 22 cm high, Radha is 16,5 cm high. A complete set of Krishna and Radha is very hard to find. This set came from a Belgian private collection. Beautifully embroidered "Goa" priest vestment from india. Goa was a Portuguese colony off the coast of India. It is embroidered with shades of blue, red, pink, yellow, orange, and green. There is a floral scrolling pattern on front and back with smaller flowers.

Beautiful 18th century black stone schist of vishnu with four arms. The arms hold a flower, a talisman with a 5 point star, a chile, and one hand is open palm outward with a dot in the middle. There are two attendants, one on either side. It measures 20" tall by 10" wide. Has metal base 4" deep.

Indian black schist carving of dancing Ganesha, the elephant headed god (the Remover of Obstacles) stands with his own broken tusk in one hand, and ax in the other, trunk is sampling sweets in upper left hand, just below his lower right hand is his mouse vehicle, white and vermilion traces, beautiful modeling of body, from Uttar Pradesh, 15th century. Unusual Indian small bronze Indian votive sculpture of the elephant headed Hindu god Ganesha, known as the Remover of Obstacles, seated on high rectangular base, the most striking feature is the upturned circular movement of his trunk, his hands are also unusual in that they are mitt shaped and bear no attributes, all over black patina, 18th century. Height 3.5" Size: 3" high x 3" wide x 2 5/8" deep.
