This piece is very beautiful plain celadon bowl maintaining beauty just like as made in early period. though most celadon pieces made in mid Goryeo has patterns. The circular shaped celadon button inlaid with a chrysanthemum in blue and white slip surrounded by lotus petals, and under button with C-shaped knob for sewing. It’s in verry good condition, measures 3.1cm d.

A Very Rare/Large Korean Black Painted with Peony Goryeo Celadon Ewer-13th C.: Korea, Goryeo (高麗)dynasty, 12th -13th century. the iron decorated ewer, an ovoid form with tapered, cylindrical neck, spout and curved handle, painted in under glaze iron-brow with peony floral scroll, covered by a greyish green celadon glaze, foot and base unearthed. It’s in very good condition with out any damages at all, It measures 22cm h. x 21cm d.

Good late Joseon Dynasty, 19th century stoneware cup/bowl with high footrim and pale greenish gray glaze and gray stoneware , this is a simple regional folk ware but has a pleasing almost celadon feel to it that needs to be held to be appreciated. There is some kiln grit in the cavetto as well as three minor hairline stress cracks. H: 8.7cm/3.5in and D: 13.1cm//5.2in.

A Very Fine Korean Inlaid/Molded Octagonal Celadon Dish-13th C.: Korea, Goryeeo dynasty, 13th century. A well potted octagonal dish inlaid with black and white slip chrysanthemum on octagonal exteriors and molded with floral heads on interiors, 3 spur marks on base, applied rich celadon glazed surfaces evenly. It’s b very good condition, it measures 12cm d. x 4cm h.

The lychee, because of its red color, is an ancient symbol of love in Korea. It is a rare and valued motif on Korean celadons. The chrysanthemum fertility symbol that also adorns this bowl is more common. But the rendering here is unique, with chrysanthemums in the center of the bowl surrounded by lotus blossoms, a symbol of rebirth because the lotus rises above the muck of the pond to show its face to the Sun. Lovely floral scrolls encircle both the inner and outer circumference...

This is a large Goryeo celadon bowl with a greyish green glaze. The bowl has a wide, shallow shape with a slightly flared rim and a small foot. The glaze appears smooth and evenly applied, characteristic of Goryeo celadon ware.
There are visible cracks and a small chip on the rim, indicating its antique condition. The bowl's surface shows signs of age and use, adding to its historical value...

The stoneware bowl features inlaid ducks and flowers, covered with a greyish green celadon glaze.
Similar examples are in the Gwangju National Museum and the V&A Museum.

A Very Rare Korean Gore Celadon/Iron Black Painted/ “司膳” Tea Bowl-12/13th C. Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th- 13th century. It is extremely rare and fine celadon tea bowl painted in iron black and with 4 peony flower head with leaves, furthermore this bowl described with “司膳” in iron black on the well. Greenish celadon glazed overall and 3 earth marks on the foot rim. It is in very good condition, it measures 4cm h. x 12cm d.

A Very Fine Korean Celadon B/W Slip Inlaid/Crane/Cloud Oil Bottle-12th C. Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th Century. The globular formed bottle with recessed ring foot and sloping to a narrow neck with cup shaped mouth, decorated in inlaid black and white slip with 4 cranes flying amongst clouds, beneath rich celadon glaze, 3 spur marks. It’s in very good condition, it measures H: 4.4cm; W: 8.4 cm.

A Very Fine Korean Foliate rim Sea-Green Celadon Molded/Floral Scroll Dish-12th C. Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th century. The shallow circular dish flared, raided foliate rim and set on flat foot with three spur marks, finely molded with peony scroll on interior with rich, even, crackled celadon glaze. It is in very fine condition, it measures 15cm d. x 4cm h.

In very nicely cracked light green celadon, it has a large, slightly flared neck, a round base, a motif of clouds and cranes in flight, and lotus flowers at its base. H28.5 cm D13.5 cm.

On a slightly cracked celadon cover, it has 4 loops at the shoulder. Rare shape, the body of the vase seems to be placed on a cup. It bears a signature close to its base of Yu Hegan (1894 - 1993). Very pretty vase in perfect condition from the early 20th century. H 25 x D14 cm.
