$485 Thai bronze head of a Bodhisattva. Ayutthaya period. Presentable decorative condition with tips of earlobes missing, core exposed atop head, and the body missing of course. Black lacquer and traces of gilt on the diadem and the back of the neck. Height of the head , about 3 3/4 inches (9.54 cm) not including the pin for securing on plinth.
