Stunning 19th Century gilded wooden structure from Burma (ca. 1858, Mandalay) resembling Palace Throne. Composed of several large individual hand carved pieces, easily assembled and suitable as stunning large Mirror or entrance/passage into special alcove/room. High quality gilding. Good condition. Size: H. 114" x W. 71" Very rare, high impact!

A pair of Burmese wooden seated disciples, with calm facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the borders of the robes, one of them sitting in adoration posture with two hands attached to each other indicating respectful manner. Traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in excellent condition.
