All original bronze hardware with straight dovetail joinery and using hardened wood nails in its construction. $165.00 Chinese Brass Lock and Key with signature, early 1900, 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/8" deep(outside measurement), 1 1/8" wide(inside measurement), stick is 3/16" less than 1/8" diameter round, sort of 3 dimentional shape, in good working condition. There are some interesting embossed and inscribed Chinese design under the old stained Brass in original condition. Thick and large size of the key is very decorative.

$5,000.00 Large Japanese antique sumie dragon flying in clouds scroll. Exuberantly painted on silk with lovely splashes of ink. Brown brocade mounting. Good condition. Signed and sealed signed Hōgen Nyosen, one of the names used by Kanō Chikanobu (1660-1728), a leading Kano-school painter of the eighteenth century Edo. (Hōgen means "dharma eye" and Nyosen means "river-like"). Translation reads that he painted it at the age of 67.

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Mt. Fuji From Mizukubo at Evening" by Takahashi Shotei, also known as Hiroaki (1871-1945). Originally published by Watanabe in 1936, this is a post-World War II edition. The artist's black ink signature and red seal are at the lower left. The round 6mm seal of the publisher Watanabe is beside the seal. The paper measures about 10 1/4" x 15 1/4" (image size: 9 1/4" x 14 1/2").
