In excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines. Measures 5.25 inches diameter by 1.25" high. Dates circa 1790
This rare group dates from the early Tang Dynasty. It's made of grey pottery and it has traces of painting ( see the back of the cart ). The ox is very well proprtioned and was made with an eye for detail: notice the ring in the nose and the tail curved around its body. The cart consists of three parts; the weels come off. The three pieces have been mounted on a professional stand.
