$150.00 18th Century Qianlong period 1736-1795 Chinese Famille Rose porcelain Spoon Rest or spoon tray, 5/8" high, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" wide, with overglaze enamel design of flowering branches in the center with four(4) separate cartouches in the center, white on white decoration techniques were used between the four(4) cartouches in small areas. The bottom is unglazed. There is a tiny frit smaller than 1/16" wide on the rim, no other damages or restoration.

The bottom is unglazed. Few kiln imperfections on the rim but no damages or restorations.

Japanese pair of Satsuma vases, beautifully decorated all over with scenes of in raised gold and colorful over glaze, motif is portraying the 18 arhats surrounding a kwan yin like form bodhisattva and Chinese sages. The vases portray characteristics seen in Yokohama Satsuma wares which were produced during the latter part of the Meiji Period. Age: Meiji Period, each vase is signed on bottom: Satsuma attributed to Hattori.

The foot ring was shaped in domed edge and was revealed with the body clay in gray tint when stingy-feel burial adhesives(BaoJiang) was preserved on the tip of the foot ring for verification.
