A Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer vase (converted into a lamp) decorated with four shaped panels of scholars on a mountainous landscape, the background with scrolling floral borders and motifs. $445.00 Very collectible ink cake of a Chinese woman in traditional Chinese attire wearing padded armor and holding the Chinese Army (1912 -1929)flag while her left hand crosses over body and rests on the sword pummel. The detailing is excellent and this is one of those items that looks better in person than in the photos. We feel comfortable with a pre-1920 dating. It measures 5.5" (14 cm) high, 4" (10.2 cm) widest, .75" (1.9 cm) deep.
Chinese 2 section cabinet made of light color jumu (elm) wood, the top section cabinet doors cover an open compartment with a shelf and two small drawers, the bottom section has 2 exterior drawers and another set of cabinet doors, circa 1900.

The interior has a central floral roundel and wave design on the rim. Each marked Hirado, Kasho.
