The palette is the much sought famille rose, along with more subtle hints of profuse colors. The condition of this vase is perfect, no hairlines, chips, or other damage. The painting is impeccable and the vase stands at an impressive 11.25" high by 4.75 wide at the mouth.

The lid has a foo dog finial and is surrounded by Buddhist symbols, truly stunning details and exquisitely carved in low relief. The box dates circa 1890, really beautiful when you consider that the box is over 118 years old.
