Dark Floral Sprays bleed into the soft paper of this large sui-e work by Nomura Seiroku depicting Negibozu, or Allium flowers. The method of application is called Bokashi, where the artist may pre-wet the paper to allow the ink to flow freely into a specific shape, or apply water to already-applied ink causing it to flow out and gradate. Red and black dominate this work by Nomura Seiroku mounted in the original period wooden frame. Although this looks similar to oil painting, it is in fact mineral pigment on paper mounted on a panel in the traditional Nihonga style. The painting itself is 33.5×45.5 cm (13-1/4 x 18 inches), with the frame it is 49.5×61.5×4.5,cm (19-1/2 x 24 x 2 inches) and is in overall excellent condtion, with some insignificant chips on the edges of the frame.

Gray pottery censor on a stemmed saucer with pierced cover in the shape of a mountain, Western Han Dynasty- (202 BC – 9 AD). Excellent condition- no chips, cracks etc. H: 26cm/10in and base D: 19.5cm/7.8in.

Antique Chinese Yixing opium pipe. Long pipe handle made of carved bone sections. The cup with a small bowl for a tiny ball of opium is made of Yixing pottery, sculpted with bamboo details and impressed with Shou longevity characters. Metal fittings are decorated with intricate repousse auspicious symbols. With custom metal stand.

An extremely rare Celadon censer standing on six legs and with connected stand, moulded three sheep heads to lobed body. Covered overall with bluish green glazed and the base with five small spur marks indicated normally as possibly Northern Song Dynasty Ru Ware found at Indonesia archipelago. Condition with a short firing crack above the foot and no any chip, no any other crack and free from any restoration. Height: 16,5 cm.

Antique Japanese set of iron and lacquer samurai armor in the Saiga school style. Tetsu Kuro urushi nuri 2mai dou Saiga gusoku. The kabuto has special iron-cut gilt eyebrows. Unique shikoro, Oie's mempo, large tare, hollow nose. Very thick torso, armpit ribs, Bishyamonten style kote.

Three miniature primitive statues depicting Hindu gods, one sitting on a oval throne in praying posture, the other one sitting on a slightly elevated circular throne holding his attributes, and the third one sitting on a square base also holding his attributes. Bronze, with fine age patinas. Height: 42 mm, 37 mm and 31 mm. Good condition despite signs of great age.

Pair of amulets, with typical faces and postures, legs slightly bent, unusual feet. Wood, with fine dark patina. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Height: 21.8 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: acquired in Singapore from a dealer specialising in tribal art and antiques in 1982.
