A rare late Yuan - early Ming white glaze large yuhuchun vase with carved flower lotus motif, good condition with original kiln smoke adhesion on the glaze body, please see picture for detail, size: 28 cm height.

A wonderful small porcelain vase in the mille fleur palette, beautifully done by a Chinese artisan. A spiny coral dragon with a tiny gold gilt design wraps around the neck adorning this flowery beauty. Dating circa 1900, these are now extremely hard to find. Measures 4.75" high.

A fine and rare Ge type meiping shape vase, with tall and slim shape. Qing dynasty 18th-19th century imitating Song Dynasty Ge ware. Condition is excellent, no any chips, no crack and free from any restoration. Height: 22,5 cm.

Pair of Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period ginger jars with domed lids decorated in bright famille verte enamels with paradise flycatchers among peony flowers, rockery, and flowering plants set against a yellow ground. A stylized ruyi form band extends around the circumference of the top. 7 3/4" high x about 7 1/4" diameter. Circa 1900. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a small brown production flaw to one lid.

A miniature vase, decorated in underglaze blue with garlands of grapevines. China, Yongzheng to early Qianlong, 18th century. Interestingly, the same decoration has been found on many of the blue and white plates in the cargo of Swedish East Indiaman Götheborg which went down just outside the town with that name in 1745. Height "3 ¼ / 8.3 cm. Condition: an old restoration overpaint to the mouth rim has been removed to leave just the filling (cf. pics).

A rare and exquisite of Early Qing Dynasty 18th century Guan type tripod censer standing on three animal legs, covered overall with grayish celadon with unglazed crackled pattern. Condition is perfect, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 11,1 cm and Height: 7,7 cm.

A rare antique Chinese Longquan, celadon glazed charger dating from the Ming Dynasty 15th Century. Thickly molded with a raised edge to the rim flange and a band of recessed petals tapering inward along the cavetto toward a peony flower roundel impressed to the center of the well. The rich olive green glaze covering all surfaces except a cinnamon-burnt firing ring within the recessed base (glaze abraded). The plate has a raised rim with a surrounding comb design...

A small late Ming Dynasty underglaze blue porcelain dish featuring a flower basket design. In excellent original condition with no cracks, no hairlines, and no repairs. Measures 5 7/8 inches diameter, 1 inch high.

Two Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain lidded ginger jars densely decorated around the circumference in famille rose enamels with a continuous spring fishing festival scene. This pattern is often referred to as the "one hundred boys" motif. Children are on the street performing the dragon dance, participants are seated in a dragon boat, and onlookers watch from a bridge and a traditional building. Chinese Qing dynasty stem cup with everted rim decorated around the exterior of the cup with two faintly incised green five-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl set against an egg-yolk yellow background. A green phoenix is at the interior well. A six-character kaishu form underglaze blue Guangxu mark is at the bottom of the interior stem. Probably of the period and dating circa 1900. 3 3/8” high x just under 4 1/2" diameter; weighs 120 grams (4 1/4 ounces)...

Circa 1860, cylindrical Chinese Yixing red stoneware teapot with dished flat cover and loose iron wire swing handles. Brightly decorated in colored enamels with a phoenix bird amongst lotus and foliage. The teapot has various stamped and incised marks, one on the lid, one on base bottom, and 2 incised marks on the pot exterior just under the handle on the side opposite the spout. Measures 5.25 inches high; length including spout 7"...

Occasionally while browsing through the temple markets of Kyoto or perusing backstreets tea-ware shops, an attractive piece will catch my eye for no particular reason. When this happens, I typically buy it immediately without hesitation, trusting that I will be able to place it to a specific period or kiln given enough time and research...
