The dense millefleurs design features naturalistic blossoming peonies, chrysanthemums, hibiscus, morning glories, roses, lotus flowers, daisies, lilies and more amidst an abundance of foliage. With spurious Qianlong mark on foot.

Chinese Celadon Qingbai dish, with foliate edges and petal form walls framing the well. The center well is incised with a blossoming flower motif. The foot is slightly recessed and left unglazed in the center.

Chinese small meiping form porcelain vase with a lovely bright apple green crackle underglaze. Dark brown rim edge. Inside the vase, just below the rim, is done in beige crackle glaze as well as the underside of the recessed foot. Perfect condition.

Chinese large porcelain vase with light blue jun ware underglaze. The body is pear shaped and slightly lobed, with dramatically fluted neck and rim, and short foot.

The Jun glaze is a complex blue glaze which was developed in Henan province during the the Northern Song and Jin dynasties, occasionally with red streaks. Jun wares have their name after Jun zhou from where it originated...

Chinese small ceramic water coupe, the interior and outer body with thick grey crackle glaze, the dark brown clay body exposed where the glaze drips end. The short, rounded form has a ribbed body and slightly flared, wide mouth. Possible Guan Ware c15th century.

Pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated in famille rose enamels with an opposing long-tailed phoenix and five-clawed dragon chasing flaming pearls among clouds over green waves. An orange-red five-clawed sinewy dragon among flames is in the interior well. A six-character kaishu iron-red Guangxu mark is on the base. Probably of the period and circa 1900. A Rare Green glazed pair of Foo Lions joss stick holders from the Ming Dynasty. Joss sticks are incense on sticks and burned in religious ceremonies usually placed along side of Buddha. Size: H. 13.2cm. Condition: No repairs. Some minor small chips due to age.

Chinese porcelain vases with red enamel five clawed dragons with motifs of floral scrolls and waves. These vases are of a highly thin Meiping form with six character mark on the recessed foot.

The meiping was first made of stoneware during the Tang dynasty (618–907). It was originally used as a wine vessel, but since the Song dynasty (960–1279) it also became popular as a plum vase and got its name "meiping"...
