Description:

A black-glazed stem cup was uniquely mold with decoration on the surface with thorn-like pattern.
It was a transition from early periods and was also a counterpart of metal wares of persian cultures which had been introduced into China 6th-8th centuries.
It was an one-of-a-kind piece but was not odd to the pottery cultures of the periods.
Foggy-look incursions were happen to the glaze in a subtle way.
The body clay was in grayish white tint...

Chinese Qing dynasty scholar’s pear-form monochrome porcelain bud vase with wide mouth covered overall in a Junyao type purplish blue flambé glaze that extends into the interior. Massive Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty (12th/13th century) Henan dark brown/black glazed horizontally ribbed ovoid form stoneware jar with high, wide shoulders narrowing at the base. The thick glaze drips down toward the flat, unglazed base. The rich black/brown glaze, referred to as “temmoku” by the Japanese, is highlighted by a russet colored cylindrical neck and rim. Measures about 13” high x 13 1/2” diameter. Very good overall condition with typical surface scratches to the glaze.

Description:A beautiful and rare imperial famille-rose crane-medallion porcelain bowl and saucer, the bowl decorated to the exterior with seven roundels of crane-medallions in purple red enamel, between bands of crosshatched pattern around the rim and blue and green breaking sea waves above foot rim, centre of the bowl finely painted with a single peony flower and leafy branches enclosed within blue-circles.
