SOLD Antique Chinese bronze incenser of a cylindrical form on tripod feet, standing on a carved wood base. The interior of the censer has natural green patina indicative consistent with age. The base is impressed with a six characte Xuande cartouche (1426-1435).
The Xuande Emperor, personal name Zhu Zhanji (朱瞻基), was the fifth emperor of the Ming dynasty, ruling from 1425 to 1435... Chinese Qing dynasty bronze censer / Incense Burner with stand, decorated with Lion or Kilin as a the handle. Xuande mark. 17 cm wide, 14 cm rim diameter. 1115 gram censer weight. good conditions.

$3,400.00 A long-necked original bronze vase with a rounded body. The top of the slender neck has a ring midway and swells out at the mouth in the shape of a garlic bulb, giving the vase its special name. It has a nice aging patina. It can be cleaned but I wouldn't recommend it.

$450.00 A Tibetan bronze flaying knife or chopper with a curved steel blade used in rituals by Buddhist Vajrayana priests. The flayer was a symbolic instrument and never used to really chop or flay people. Hence, the blade is dull. The blade has oxidized on both sides and there is some verdigris inside the top of the handle. Measures 6.75 inches x 7" high. Dates 1800's.

Finely cast, with nice details, miniature statue of bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, standing on a lotus base, his left hand holding what seems to be a gourd. Bronze, with encrusted reddish green patina, with traces of the original gilding. China, Tang Dynasty. Height: 5.6 cm. The statue is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Good condition.
