Very rare, Gulong Miao children’s jacket from Guizhou. This is a side opening style, made from all hand woven cloth (except for the inner sleeve lining) with hand embroidered anthropomorphic figures, on a calendared greenish cotton ground. Good black glazed with large swathes of russet jug circa Ming Dynasty bottle with two lugs. There are a few chips on the lower edge of mouth. This kind of ware was the “coke bottle” of their day, common place household/kitchen items, almost every home would have a few. Pair of small Ming dynasty Longquan celadon vases of compressed pear-form with flaring foliate form mouth decorated on opposing sides with low moulded relief leafy floral decoration. A pair of s-shaped handles are on each side of the neck. The celadon glaze with olive tint ends at the slightly flaring unglazed foot which has burnt orange from firing. The recessed base is glazed. A Chinese White Glazed Seated Lion Joss Stick Holder. Circa, 1368-1644, Dehua Kilns, Ming Dynasty. Found in the Philippines. Model of a lion seated on a tall rectangular plinth with a tubular holder and is covered in a white glaze. Measurements: height (2.9”inches). Condition: some soil stains on the glaze but can still probably be removed with thorough cleaning. No cracks, no chips, no restorations...

A rare Chinese Sancai ewer from the Tang Dynasty (618-907), featuring a rounded shape with a dual strap handle and spout.

The ewer is adorned with a variegated sancai glaze, displaying hues of amber and green set against a cream background. It stands at a height of 9.5 cm and spans 15 cm in width.

The overall condition is excellent, with only a minor glaze chip observed at the bottom edge of the spout.

A choice pair of decorative pottery figures of House Attendants, dating to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644.

The figures are dressed in dark blue and turquoise robes and carry high hats on their heads. They both appear to be carriers of their masters carriage. They are placed on square plints. Heads and boots with pigmented colors.

Height: c. 22-23 cm.

Condition: A superb pair of pottery figures with wear for age and type.
