A small Chinese porcelain bowl with the popular "nine peaches" decoration. The peach is the symbol for long life, timelessness, immortality and springtime. Also illustrated on the bowl is a fungus, plum blossoms, and bats, all of which are symbols wishing you a long life. The bat flying around is also a wish for happiness. The bowl measures about 2 1/4" high x 5" in diameter, and dates to the late Ching, early Republic Period...

Antique Chinese jade lidded box in rectangular form on four cylinder legs. Carved with highly raised relief designs of archaic motifs featuring lion heads, key frets and scrolling chimera. Loose carved ring handles on the sides and large fu-lion finial on the lid. Beautiful coloring ranging from white to green. On carved hardwood base.

Rare Chinese porcelain underglaze red and blue vase; depicts a deer under pine trees with bats; mid-17th century; possibly Ming Period; minor surface abrasions; good condition; email for more pictures

Circa 1900, Chinese export enamel trough planter with floral scenes in rock garden on a custom wood stand. The glaze on the exterior ground is a lovely pale turquoise, while the interior is a darker contrasting turquoise. The rim features fret key pattern in a vibrant translucent royal blue and the metal trim is silver which has darkened over time. In excellent condition, the planter measures 8" long, 5.5" wide, and 2.5" high. On stand measures just under 3.5".

The natural cobalt had become to be imported to China again at Jiajing period, and so color development of blue had become very clear...

The technique of famille rose has born united western and eastern technology on the Kangxi period...

The Kangxi(康熙）period is the day when the ceramic industry ruined at the last Ming dynasty had been rebuild, and many excellent pieces had been produced at both government kiln and folk kiln. This piece has picture of flushou (福禄寿）and the superlative seal mark of folk kiln on the back.
