A very large authentic Tang tomb guardian wearing a typical warrior's uniform standing on an evil earth creature with remains of the original pigments. The guardian was there to protect the tomb from these evil creatures. The item was found with its parts separated.Large statues like this were made in several parts. See last photo. A Rare celadon dish with finely balance potted, decorated incised with double five pointed star to the interior. Plain to the underside, mark of 'Chien' mean 'thousand' incised mark to the base. Condition with a very light hairline visible on 3 o'clock position, otherwise is perfect condition. Five dynasties to Northern Song period Yueyao. Diameter: 14 cm and Height: 3,4 cm.

A rare authentic detailed Han granary with three bear like legs in a rich deep green glaze. Size: H. 30 cm. Roof diameter 23 cm. Condition: No repairs. Some small kiln chips.

Chinese porcelain planter in a squared form tapering slightly towards the base, incised with imagery of birds perching, grapes and coiling vines, blooming flowers against a yellow enamel ground. The upper and lower part of the planter with bands of archaic scrolls in cobalt blue. The rim has red floral scrolling motifs. The base is marked "China" in red. With dense carved wooden stand of an inverted lotus form.

Rare Chinese eggshell thin Dingyao porcelain bowl, the interior molded with relief details of scrolling chrysanthemums and leaves. The sides of the bowl flare widely from the small and shallow foot and the rim left unglazed.

Provenance: historic Noble family in North Berkeley, whose grandparents were missionaries in Korea in the 19th century.

Shufu is a rare Chinese white porcelain that was made during the Yuan dynasty (1206-1368) in Hutian village just outside the city of Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province. Thought to be the first known porcelain ordered by imperial officials. The body of the ware is covered with a soft, white, bluish opaque glaze similar to qingbai, but contained less calcium oxide resulting in slight translucency rather than transparency...

Chinese repousse silver perfumer shaped like a melon. It is divided into 6 sections with tiny flowers on a vine in each section. Clasp in back. Bottom has maker's cartouche.

Diameter approximately 11 cm. Few soft chips at the rim. In good condition.

This is the most desirable of all the Han dogs. Not only has it been beautiful executed but has one of the nicest faces I have ever seen on a Han dog,it looks great from every angle. Size: H.26.5cm. W. 23.3cm. Condition: Tip of left ear has been professionally repaired. Some minor chips around the base. Overall in very good condition.

Chinese eggshell thin ding ware porcelain bowl, with celadon crackle glaze that ends just below the rim, left in bare porcelain. Inside the bowl, the well has a deeply incised outline contrasting with the inner walls of the bowl. The outer edges of the bowl are carved with delicate floral scrolls.

Intricately carved mask for the Nuo esoteric theater, representing the legendary character of Bao Gong, or Judge Bao, wearing a formal hat, his face in relief with a fierce expression, with bulging eyes, open mouth revealing fangs, and a stylised beard. Wood, with traces of the original polychrome colouring. China, 18th century. Height: 29.6 cm. Very good condition despite signs of old insect infestation (no danger).

A rare blue glazed Kendi, covered overall with monochrome blue glaze. Late Tang Dynasty in perfect condition. Height: 18,8 cm.

A fine polychrome jar with original cover, decorated with horses among waves and plum blossoms. Condition is perfect with no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Transitional period between Ming and Qing or Chongzhen to Shunzhi period. Height maximum: 13,6 cm

The small size of the figures (23-29 cm) makes this an interesting and rare group. The moulded figures still have much of their painting intact. The come in different sizes with different faces.
