SOLD Antique Chinese jadeite carving of two identical furry critters, possibly foxes, curled together in a yin yang fashion. The jadeite has parts that are a glowing lavender with muted green areas. The carving is pierced through and may be worn as a pendant.

In finding this hint of early spring, he hoped to find inspiration for his poems. They see an amazing plum tree starting it's bloom in the cold of late winter...

SOLD Chinese pair of silk rank badges, decorated with blue phoenix birds, applied all over with silver wrapped thread in designs of swirling clouds and the moon. The phoenix stands on a rock with crashing waves all around. 19th century. Framed.

Small figurine representing Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, in formal attire and wearing elaborate diadem and necklaces, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne around which reclining lions are showing. Bronze, with dark reddish-green patina. China, Northern Wei or Sui Dynasty. Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm). Strong erosion due to great age, right hand partly chipped (old accident) otherwise good condition. An extremely rare object.

$650.00 Beautiful Chinese carnelian bangle, carved of deep reddish orange carnelian of lovely translucency. Size: 3" wide diameter / 2 1/4" wide inside.
A Chinese signed calligraphy poem on paper from the Republic period. This scroll is from the collection of the Hollywood actor James Coburn. The poem was written during the New Year of 1917. It expresses the budding of spring, possibly in relation to Sun Yat Sen, alluding to the beginning of the Republic of China. There are two red seals on the scroll.
The image measures: 23.5" wide by 50" long.
