This cotton is thick. This is dyed with a beautiful natural indigo plant. This indigo plant is a good indigo plant cultivated in Kyoto. This has a few stains to a chest and a collar, but does not stand out.
This is the very good state that does not include damage.

sold Cylinder shaped (hanzutsu) tea bowl made of light, fine, unrefined Mino clay from the late Momoyama or early Edo period. Shape and style (note the trimmed walls) make it appear contemporary with the late Oribe bowls. The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical white, feldspatic Shino glaze which has been poured and under which a decoration of a bamboo grass (sass) and a fence have been applied in iron oxide (oni ita)...

Sold This is a wonderful pair of early cloisonne vases. The rich enamels and designs used appear to be that of early Namikawa Sosuke. Each vase features a different roosters and a hens. The vases stand 13 inches tall. Condition overall is excellent. Upon close inspection a 1 inch line can bee seen along with two over sized pits.The owner would consider splitting up this pair.

Sold, Thank you! A spectacular black lacquered wooden sign carved with bold characters over a gold gilded carp swimming through a torrent of waves dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. It is in fine condition, with only minor marks typical of age. It measures 4 feet (121 cm) long, 14 inches (35 cm) wide and is 1-1/2 inches (3.5 cm) thick at the frame edge.

$575 The Katchushi style of this tsuba gives it an earlier look and feel. But it is probably an Edo period work (might expect more wear on the seppa-dai or more conspicuous tekkotsu on an older example.) The thin body nonetheless resilient. Strong, sparse, decorative file marks on the vertical add to character. Adept use of the file, thin plate and slight taper toward the rim could support argument a swordsmith may have made the tsuba...

All the Scabbards are in good condition but wood on the bottom shows two(2) cracks between 5" to 9" long.
