Zentner Collection
SOLD Japanese set of 7 blue and white porcelain condiment cups. Each cup is formed with dramatic four lobed foliate rim, eggshell thin body with cobalt blue under enamel scene of Mt. Fuji and flower medallions. The foot of each cup is recessed and incised with lines in a circular order. Dates from the 19th century.

SOLD Antique Japanese small tansu chest made of kiri (paulownia) wood. It has six drawers of various sizes and a compartment with a small shelf covered by two sliding panels. Hardware is made of iron and includes warabite shaped drawer pulls, round lock plates, corner bracing and side handles.

sold Mint Oni-Hagi masterpiece chawan with notched foot by star potter Seigan Yamane. This extraordinary tea bowl is covered by wonderful different shades of green and purple glaze on brown pottery. In my opinion it is the one of the most aesthetic chawans that he made. The seal of the artist is stamped on the bottom. We have a similar chawan with orange-red glaze - same price. Seigan Yamane was born in 1952, and started making Hagi ware in 1987... The size of Plate: 7 1/4" Dia x 1 1/4" High. Fine quality Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Plate. The plate has three section window divided by Gold and red Karakusa design. There is Crane design in circle. Well control Yoroke design in gold green lavender colors. Window has Japanese flower in enamel work and butterfly. The center of plate with blue underglaze landscape design accented with gold. Well done plate. The shape and also the glazing is fine quality porcelain body...
The Kura
sold, thank you White wisteria (fuji in Japanese) drape from the gilded rim of this Kutani vase signed from the pre-eminent Kaburaki (Kaburagi) studio dating from the opening of the 20th century. The imagery is exquisitely performed with over-glaze enamels on a pastel gray ground. The vase is large at 13 inches (33.5 cm) tall, 8-1/2 inches (22 cm) diameter and is in excellent condition, with some wear to the gold rim.

The merchant's chest holds two drawers over a sliding pair of panel doors with open compartment inside.
