A rare ca. 12th Century S-E Asian Bronze Bell from the Estate of Johan and Randi Daehlfeldt, Denmark. This bell is still sonorous and has a nice relief design on top. Beautiful naturally aged patina and comes with an attractive custom made stand. Some inconsequential wear due to considerable age. Size: H. 7 cm. including top loop x 4.5 cm. without the stand.

Indo Portuguese work, made in the 18th to early 19th century. Very well carved, note the eleborate dress. Remains of gilding. H. 22,5 cm. Condition: A part of the stand has been professionally restored (see picture) as well as the pinky fingers of the Virgin.

Cambodian Angkhor Thom design hinged Silver Box, 1 1/2" high, 6 3/8" wide, 3 7/8" deep, impressed design of Angkor Thom within impressed scrolling leaves and vines design border on top, and scrolling leafy design on all sides, impressed mark on the bottom. The condition is good.

2 very cute small SAWANKHALOK 14-15th Century Siamese pots with underglaze painted directly onto the biscuit. The base of both are typically unglazed. A refined image of the deity Amitayus, known as the Buddha of infinite light in many pureland texts including the Sukhavativyuha Sutra. The central Amitayus image is surrounded by nearly a hundred or so other Amitayus images reflecting a concept found in Vajrayana and Mahayana texts of how a Buddha or Bodhisattva can be found in many locations simultaneously. The thangka contains a blessing with hand imprints and a mantra in the Bru-sha script to invoke the deity...

Antique Tibetan bronze vajra dorje. The handle has three heads topped with a horse. The vajra connects the hilt to the head of Makara where a three edged blade is attached. It was made in Tibet in the 19th/20th century, obtained in Kathmandu in the 1960s. It measures 12" long.

A elegant lacquerware for monastery use. Made in Kyaukka, in the lower Chindwin District in Burma, made from woven matting and coiled bamboo and lacquered in black and red. This piece has six sections. These original Kyaukka pieces are difficult to come by. Size: H. 38cm. W. 38cm. Condition: No repairs. Very good condition.

Set of two bronze Thai sculptures portraying a similar look to a pair usually seen in Thai temples of Buddha's main disciples, Ananda and Mahakasyapa. The one with hands held together is often the style seen for the image of Ananda and the other, interestingly enough, is holding a flower which represents a famous parable when the Buddha silently picked a flower and smiled, Mahakasyapa too silently smiled marking the transmission of the dharma...
