A 19th century Chinese canopy lacquered bed of cypress and elmwood (ju-mu). The bed rail has a turned spindle gallery with a low relief carving of scrolling floral panels as the back splash. The canopy spandrel has turned hook-spindles for holding drapes or clothing. The main canopy lattice pattern has a centralized floral medallion. A rare Fujian Jian ware tea-bowl such called Tenmoku in Japan favorite as the best tea-bowl. Covered overall with black glazed and interior with tiny spots like very unusual 'gold dust' under the glazed with close examine. Southern Song Dynasty in perfect condition, with no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 12,7 cm and Height: 6,3 cm.

A fabulous large porcelain vase by Daimaru Hoppo (Hokuho) enclosed in the original signed and compartmentalized wooden box complete with a rosewood base. The vase is a perfect example of the Sinophile aesthetic that permeated Japanese art in the early 20th century. The simplified form rises from to frets decorated with stylized cicada under a belt of archaic figures and yotsu-domoe (yin-yang) symbols. It is 14 inches (35 cm) tall plus the base and is in excellent condition.

A very rare found black Ding ware of Sheep porcelain statue with fine detail. Possibly Song/Jin black glazed Dingyao. Condition is perfect, with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Wide: 12 cm and Height: 11,3 cm.

A pair of nicely formed hollow glazed pottery birds. Both have round plump figures and lots of character. The darker bird has two glazes - a brown splash of glaze that runs over a straw glaze. The lighter bird has a celadon colored glaze. The glaze on both birds have a very fine crackle.

Period: Tang (7th-10th Century)
