Circa 1860, cylindrical Chinese Yixing red stoneware teapot with dished flat cover and loose iron wire swing handles. Brightly decorated in colored enamels with a phoenix bird amongst lotus and foliage. The teapot has various stamped and incised marks, one on the lid, one on base bottom, and 2 incised marks on the pot exterior just under the handle on the side opposite the spout. Measures 5.25 inches high; length including spout 7". A wonder addition for the collector of Chinese Canton Expo...

This is a gold lined Natsume tea urn decorated with genuine platinum by Yamamoto Ichiyo enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Jun-Platinum-sai Gingawa.
