Antique Chinese scroll of a young beauty with an old man signed Qian Hui An. A young woman stands behind the gate to her home as an old man admires her beauty from outside. It is signed Qian Hui'An (1833 - 1911) 19th century. It measures overall 21.5" x 89.5" the image measures 13.75" x 53.25".

An underglaze blue decorated porcelain coffee cup, painted with flowers and butterflies. This item was made in Jingdezhen, China, for export to Europe, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). Condition: excellent - no damages and no restoration. 5.5cm (2.2inches0 high; 6.5cm (2.5inches) diameter.

A bakumatsu era (mid 19th century) Shishi Koro of dark red clay covered in a rich green glaze from the Banko kilns in Mie. It is 14 x 24 x 8 cm (9 x 5-1/2 x 3 inches) and is in fine condition but for one clawed toe which has been chipped. This squat style of facial expression was popular from the declining years of the Edo period into the early Meiji, and fits the date of this piece perfectly.

Original woodblock of a samurai by Japanese master and teacher Toyokuni Utagawa, 1769-1825. Signed in lower left, the print is float mounted. In very good antique condition, there is some worm hole damage along the right edge. Measures sight size 13.5 inches high, 9.25 inches high.

There is a wax seal on a tag, threaded through the scroll. Seal says "Shen Shi " (named Nanpin). Attributed to Shen Quan (Shen Nanpin). It measures overall 19.75" wide by 76" tall, 16" by 52.5".

Antique Chinese hanging scroll of a "Courtesan Playing the Flute" signed Qiu Ying. This painting is of two courtesans waiting to entertain the emperor. The emperor would be seated in front of a screen of dragons. The empress would be seated in front of a scene with phoenixes. The courtesan on the right plays the flute while the courtesan on the left holds a fan. The skill of Qui Ying can be seen in the rendering of the sheer quality of the fan, the courtesan's sleeve is visible behind it....
