This is a japanese antique very rare Ramie( choma )child kimono used for edo in Kyoto. This is dyed in natural indigo plant and Benibana. This is colored the both sides into in Katozome. This hemp is spun by hand. This has five places of small stains, but does not stand out. There is no damage really. The state is complete. Size 123cmx 121cm (38.1 "x 38.9 ")

An original piece by the second in the line of Choraku potters. This bowl is stamped twice on the side and once on the pedestal with the mark of Ogawa Choraku II (1912-1991).

The Choraku line began when a student of Kichizaemon XI (Keinyu) and Kichizaemon XII (Konyu) opened an independent kiln in Kyoto in 1904. A powerful Mimitsuki Karatsu Mizusashi by Nakagawa Jinembo (Jinenbo b. 1953) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Vicious white glaze, deeply fissured, supplants the fawn brown of the back, all over a very rough red clay filled with shiseki stones. The piece breathes energy, vivacious and playful it is a pleasure to view and use. The lid is similarly glazed, with hakeme brush marks inside. The piece is roughly 7 inches (18 cm) tall, the same diameter and in perfect condition.

Absolutely rare flower shaped (Rinka-type) Ko-Karatsu tea bowl. It originates from the famous Yamase kiln in Kishitake, dating back to the Momoyama Period, late 16th century

It has a precious high-end Najishi Gold dust restoration with fragments from the same kiln like the missing pieces. The bowl is unglazed. A real stunning item in museum quality.

Little distorted half cylinder shaped tea bowl made of light, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical shino glaze inside and outside with a fine dark greyish triangle design. This is a typical late Momoyama design. The somewhat irregular foot is typical for the late production of the 1620-ies at the Motoyashiki and Kamagane kilns.

This is an absolutely rare black Seto chawan ( setoguro chawan ) from the Edo Period.

Blackish-brown glaze amalgamates with a wild and roughly thrown body and a still vivid and strong Seto Glaze. It is very heavy for a tea bowl, 503g. Please note that there is also an interesting kiln mark.
