H ca. 24 in. Excellent condition. Oversized limited-edition Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Okiie Hashimoto (1899-1993) titled "Garden in Autumn." The bottom margin is signed, titled in kanji, dated 1961, and numbered 10/60. The artist's red seal is at the lower right. The lower right margin holds a black 5-character self-published mark. An interior mirror under the fitted lid shows some age related wear. The tortoise shell is in excellent antique condition, no cracks and there is no visible loss to the enamel. This is a rare treasure which displays beautifully. Measures 6 inches long, 5" wide, 1.5 inches high. Circa 1880.

$120.00 Chinese Export Imari Porcelain Plate, 18th C. Qianlong period 1736-1795, 9" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with Peony flower branches in the center, within more floral branches decorated on the wide border, all the decorations are done with overglaze iron red on top of the underglaze blue, highlighted in gold. There are very tight glaze hairline under the plate about 2" long and another one is 3/4" long, and small chips 1/8" wide under the rim.
