Price on Request Chinese pair of bronze censors in the form of detailed fu dogs with inlaid carnelian and jade decorating the bodies. Their heads are hinged so that incense may be placed inside and the smoke will billow from their mouths.

$650 Antique Japanese lacquer box for the storage of cigarettes, with a woven "basket" exterior and black lacquer interior. The lid has two mixed metal fans incised with an old immortal man and foliage. The box has a free-sliding drawer and its top has a metal ashtray lined with glass. It sits on a lacquer tray with mixed metal handles. Taisho period (1912-1925)

SOLD. Standing Amida Nyorai, the hands forming the raigo-in mudra welcoming the souls of the departed faithful to the Western Paradise. Sculpted from Japanese cypress with yosegi-zukuri joined-block construction, the eyes of inset crystal and the entirety finished in lacquer and gold leaf. The lotus-form dais and mandorla form an original ensemble with the Buddha figure. Muromachi Period ca. 1500. Very minor old loss, and the hands masterfully rendered replacements.

Made of brass or bronze, the largest spoon in "ganga-jumna" technique (brass and copper). Three with cobra, two with lotus bud and one with dancing Krishna final. One with short inscription. Sold to USA - November 2014 售至美国 - 2014年11月 A small pair of finely potted U-shaped Chinese porcelain wine cups painted to the exterior in underglaze blue with stylized scrolls of flowering lotus above a band of Ruyi heads over a narrow foot.
Above the lotus flower heads are eight Tibetan style Buddhist Lanca (Lantsa) characters.

SOLD Vintage Japanese woodblock print by moku hanga style artist Fumio Fujita (1933-present). He graduated the Musashino College of Fine Arts in 1955 and began making woodblock prints in 1963. This piece is easily attributed to Fujita as he is well-known for using trees as a focal point. He combines scenic imagery with abstract geometric figures, using bold color combinations. Signed and dated 1971, marked number 177/200 in the series.

SOLD Vintage Japanese woodblock print by moku hanga style artist Fumio Fujita (1933-present). He graduated the Musashino College of Fine Arts in 1955 and began making woodblock prints in 1963. This is an abstract piece he created early in his career with a goldenrod yellow and grey background and bold, black criss-crossing lines with solid black circles, capturing motion and fluidity. It is set in a black and gold frame. Signed by artist and dated 1965.

Sold in our Liverpool Shop - September 2015 / 利物浦店内售出 - 2015年9月 A carved blown moulded glass snuff bottle painted on the inside with a mountain landscape and on the other side a garden scene with potted plants, lingzhi fungi and a weather sculpted rock. This item was made in China during the late 19th or early 20th Century.
Condition: there is no stopper and there are flaws inside the clear glass neck which were possibly caused during the making of the aperture.
