SOLD Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a head of cabbage with a cute cicada sitting on top of the leaves, which have a wonderful bumpy texture and waviness, and a bundle of roots at its base.
Size: 3.5" legnth, .75" thickness
A Tang Dynasty White Glaze Melon Box with lobed vertically carved lines eminating from the lid. Hair line in the glaze on lid appears to be in the glaze only. Crack in lid from time of manufacture. Height is 3 inches.
Song dynasty, brown glaze jar in overall good condition. Height is 5 inches, diameter 5 inches.

Sold Antique Chinese grey and white jadeite carving of two fish swimming opposite each other, one of them spouting a stream of water out of its mouth. The fish are delicately carved over the darker grey area of jade, while the rest piece is a lighter grey/white jade.

$95.00 Old Kalaga from Myanmar (now Burma) featuring an unusual but colorful bird. The kalaga is embroidered with a combination of metallic and plain threads, sequins, beads and glass stones. Applied around the bird in a circle are glass-like stones that give the appearance of moonstones. In very good antique/vintage condition, it measures about 14.25 inches square. Circa 1950's or earlier.

SOLD. Standing Jizo Bosatsu, the hands forming the gassho adoration mudra, sculpted in relief from a light-hued sedimentary stone. Clearly dated to the third year of the Horeki Era (1753), mid-Edo Period. Minor old loss and superficial cracks. Light lichen accumulation.
Height: 53 cm Combining chisel-marked force with stylistic simplicity, a notably compelling Jizo stone.

Sold. Thank you. A pottery whistle in the form of an unusual face with its lips puckered as if whistling. The top of the whistle has green and brown glazes (sansai glaze) - the bottom is unglazed. The glaze has a very fine crackle. Under magnification, tiny pits can be seen on the fine crackle, which is consistent with the appearance of glazes for pieces of this period.
Period: Tang (618 - 907 AD) Size: Height = 3.9 cm Condition: Good condition. No breaks. There's wearing of the glaz...

Lovely 14th-15th Century Sawankhalok bottle with two ear handles at shoulder with refined incised horizontal line markings. Glaze has a nice olive green color with some omission during glazing.
