A Cizhou ceramic pillow with an ivory colored glaze which continues to a little above the base. The center of the headrest is painted fluidly with a floral spray in a brown iron pigment while a loose band of three freely incised lines encircle the flower. The base is left unglazed. This is shirushi-Hanten which a firefighter wore. A member of Nu-gumi wore this. The letter of the collar is written as Nu-gumi. The inside is good blue-colored cotton of the natural indigo plant.
