Rare example of Yuan dynasty b/w dish, slight thinly potted if compare with this similar medium size, decorated with large lotus panel medallion in the center, the rounded cavetto with continuous lotus scroll and the foliate rim encircled with classic scrolls pattern. Condition is broken and re-glued like indicate on the pictures and about 30% missing area, found at East Java Trowulan Indonesia. Diameter: 31 cm.

A rare well potted jar with fine porcelain body and very well painted, in under glaze blue, depicting two flying phoenix amongst scrolling foliage. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722) but this item was made later, in the 19th Century, probably circa 1800-1850 during the reign of either the Jiaqing or the Daoguang emperor.
