A rare blue and white Meiping, decorated with garden scene with official and attendant among windswept, pine tree and grasses, flanked by a band of continuously lotus scroll in the shoulder above and plantain leaves below, base unglazed. Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period of Jingtai-Thianshun. Condition is very good, except minor flake chips to mouth rim, but no any restoration. High: 24cm.

A four panel coromandel screen with four porcelain panels set inside the screen surrounded with mother of pearl inlay of various human subjects set within a landscape. Each porcelain panel contains a short inscription describing the scene. The next line contains the date when the panels were painted (summer, year of the earth snake or approx. 1929). Chinese carved jade model of a brilliant green chloromelonite jadeite oval plaque, with qilin beneath pine, and verso with phoenix and flowering branch motifs (possibly color enhanced but not tested). A Cloisonne Enamel vase depicting two Manchurian Cranes, made in Japan for export during the Meiji period (1868-1911). Condition - there is an under rim chip and one to the body (please view enlargements 8 & 9); there are very minor losses to the enamel and there are stress cracks.
