The deer and crane are symbols of longevity, and when they are paired they are symbols of eternal love. The pine tree is also a symbol of longevity. Very nice late 18th Century Benjarong Porcelain Bowl, especially made in China for the Siamese Court and Nobility. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree medallions and a Famille Noire background. Beautiful black birds perched over a chrysanthemum bush. There is an inscription in the upper left corner and a cartouche. Sumi and light colors on silk. Mid Ching dynasty (1644-1911), circa 1800. It measures 12" wide 32" long, overall 16" wide by 55.5" long.

A chubby, chirpy, thoroughly charming Nyoirin Kannon Bosatsu in characteristic seated pose of royal ease, sculpted in bold relief against a lotus-petal-form mandorla.

Lovely composition of a banana leaf over a basket of cherries. There is an inscription with a cartouche below. It is mounted on teal paper and cream paper with a geometric pattern with flowers. It measures 17.75" wide 26.5" tall image, overall 22" wide by 74" long.

Beautiful antique Chinese scroll with two images painted by ladies of the court from the late Ching Dynasty, circa 1900. Each image has an inscription with a cartouche. It is painted with sumie ink and mineral pigments. The overall width is 14", the images measure 10.25" wide by 9.25" tall.

Description:

An archaic bronze seal was from Buddhist ritual.
It was cast on the printing side with four ancient Zhuan characters: Fo Fa Seng Bao (Buddha, Buddha dharma, Buddha Followers, Buddha's Holy Treasures).
There's a long slender knob on top of the seal. Three characters Wu Qiong Gang (Endless Strength) were inscribed on the upper side beside the knob.
The seal was kept in perfect condition and was in darken patina due to long time of age.
