AN ATTRACTIVE CHINESE CLOISONNE MEIPING, LATE 18TH ~ EARLY 19TH C.

A miniature Chinese cloisonne meiping vase, late 18th ~ early 19th century. Bright colours and good gilding. It is apparent that the wires are soldered which is a technique associated often with earlier wares.

Approximately 7.7 cm high. Small bruise on side with missing enamel. Tiny areas within the foot-rim where enamel is missing, manufacturing fault.

Beautiful pair of white and green Peking glass vases from circa 1900. Peking glass is chinese overlay glass that has been carved. Traditional Chinese water scene with ducks, swooping birds, and lotus flowers in green on white ground. Measures 10" high 3" diameter at base. Previously used as a pair of lamps. Late 19th/ early 20th century.

An Yixing stoneware teapot bearing a rare seal "Li Bang Shui Ji" - which might be a retailers mark. There is a single hole inside the spout. This item was made in China during the Qing dynasty (1644-1908),possibly during the reign of either the Jiaqing or Daoguang emperors (1796-1850). Condition - good - no damages and no restoration. 15.5cm (6.1inches) long; 9cm (3.5inches) high.

A well carved yellow ground jar, with cover, depicting two confronting dragons amongst clouds and flames above breaking waves. The base carries the seal mark - Wang Bing Rong - and was probably made, circa 1910-1920, during the early Republic period.
