A Huali wood covered box was preserved in a very good condition. By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out. Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age. In quite good size, it was used as a storage box for scholar’s utensils. Date: Qing Dynasty, late 19th Century. Dimensions: 22cm x 18.5cm x 7.2cm.
