SOLD A Chinese Qingbai Glazed Granary Vase with Cover. Circa, 960-1279, Song Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Featuring a long ovoid shaped body, rising from a short splayed foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a waisted neck with an applied decoration of a dragon above encircling figures and is topped with a conical cover. It is covered overall in a translucent green-white 'qingbai' glaze, except for the base which remains fully unglazed.

SOLD A Pair of Qingbai Glazed Granary Vases. Circa, 960-1279, Song Dynasty.
Found in the Philippines.
Both vases feature a tall ovoid shaped body, rising from a short splayed foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a long waisted neck and a flanged mouth with an applied decoration of a dragon above encircling figures and both are covered overall in a green-white 'Qingbai' glaze, except for their bases which remains fully unglazed.
Measurements: height, approximately (13.5"inches) each vase.

Produced in the 1950s, this is actually a copy of a 17th - early 18th century style that was made of zitan and edged in boxwood. A strong stand that will hold your heaviest object, the pieces were machine made with rough carvings, hand assembled (pegged and glued), and then hand finished and polished. In excellent condition, the stand measures 12” long x 7.25" wide x 4” high.
