Antique bronze figure of seated Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva finely cast and skillfully hand chased, 18th century, China.

Quadrangular vase in very thick and heavy porcelain stoneware covered with pâle blue glaze (Jun?)splashed with yellowish-brown stains (oil spots?). Interior also glazed. 118x50x75 mm Good condition, slight usual wear, no cracks or restoration. Cooking defects at the corners of the base. Possibly Jun with oil spot of the song period.

A deeply carved Chinese cinnabar seal paste box measuring about 2.75 inches diameter and 1" high. It is a superb example of early bright red cinnabar lacquer. Being 225 years old, it has been very well kept. Dates circa 1780.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain bowl decorated on the exterior wall with stylized forms thinly washed in deep blue-gray over a celadon-gray crackled ground. The interior is unglazed at the center where another bowl was stacked in the kiln. Japanese Yama Chawan (literally 'Mountain Tea Bowl'), biscuit firing ware with impressive natural glaze and slightly distorted form. It dates back to the Kamakura Period (1185 - 1333). Highlight is the inside design with a Japanese Koi image which was added by a former owner as a kind of Kintsugi to close a damage on the inside surface. Such typ of Kintsugi is definitely rare.

Antique Chinese bronze cylindrical container on three feet. Decorated with two groups of male figures which appear to be fighting. The scenes are set under pine trees bows with puffs of swirling clouds and rocks. The rim of the container is decorated with a key fret motif. The bottom is carved with an archaic three-character mark. Very heavy bronze with beautiful patination.
