A pair of antique architectural ornaments, in the form of mythical birds. Heavy wood, with fine age patina with a dark colour probably due to soot. Nepal, 15/16th century, maybe older. Height: 34.8 cm. Good condition. Provenance: acquired in Nepal in 1975.

A lovely and rare one of small Meiping with well balance potted and connected stand, decorated with a sprig of Plum to the body, covered overall with Qingbai glazed. Condition is very good excepted an area with firing imperfection of fumigation, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Yuan Dynasty 13th-14th Century Jindezhen Huthien Shufu Ware. Height: 14 cm.

A rare and beautiful underglazed copper red decorated with minimalize design and brighter red of three friends of winter as main design among Qingbai glazed to entire body. Condition is excellent, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. It's very rare to found in underglazed copper red design, sometime just find in underglazed cobalt blue. A very thin cast bronze image of a hunched female crow in dark olive patina with an incised signature on the underbelly Takayo dated Bunan 2 (1445). Round hare in bronze with a dark brown patina, standing on two legs. In Japanese, the hare and the rabbit are referred to by a single word: usagi. The animal is one of the twelve animals of the zodiac in Sino-Japanese astrology. It also plays a role in many folk tales and legends. A symbol of longevity, it is supposed to reach a fabulous age and turn blue at five hundred years years old.
