A Very Fine Korean Foliate rim Sea-Green Celadon Molded/Floral Scroll Dish-12th C. Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 12th century. The shallow circular dish flared, raided foliate rim and set on flat foot with three spur marks, finely molded with peony scroll on interior with rich, even, crackled celadon glaze. Furoshiki (wrapping cloth) with tsutsugaki kamon (family crest), Maruni-Yotsume. It is made of hand spun cotton and vegetable indigo dyed. It has indigo color bleeding in the kamon. It is not sure whether it is original dye, or bleeding from washing, however, it gives some depth and taste. Generally in good condition but has some breaks and some tiny holes.
