A Chinese bronze incense-burner and cover modelled as a prancing qilin, well and delicately cast, with nice patina. Early Qing, 17th/18th century. 18 cms.
A hexagonal open-work cast bronze incense stick or utensils holder with two dragon handles, standing on three feet. The sides showing four high-relief immortals and two lotus flowers, the base with lattice pattern. Condition: traces of age. Dimension: height: c. 16.3 cm, c. 14.8 cm wide.
A Chinese bronze two-handled censer in the manner of Hu Wenming, Ming dynasty, 16th/17th century. 15 cms wide.
Provenance: Hugh Gordon Lowder (1888-1978) who worked at Chinese Maritime Customs, Shanghai, 1908-1914 and 1918-1940.
