Antique Chinese bronze tripod censer, with lions' heads for handles and beautiful hand-scribed calligraphy on its front over a textured ground. The four characters on the bronze read "to keep and appreciate forever". The signature is dated the ninth year of Guangxu (1884). Some family members dedicated this to their deceased ancestor's 70th birthday. The first two characters are the name of an island in a fairy tale, inhabited by immortals. The last two characters mean "love spring"...

A small bronze mirror of bulls eye form, 69mm in diameter 7.5mm in height with a rounded boss surrounded by a thin raised concentric ring to the centre with a raised edge and partial concave profile to the rim. The U-shaped body with broad flaring mouth supported on three tall splayed legs, cast around the body with a key-fret band and to the underside of the spout with a nine character Mark. The elephant has a Buddhistic caparisoned dress with pearl harness, tassels, and scrolling patterned blanket. On its back is a removable bulbous vase form with flared neck (tianquiping) Incised with arctic motif. The elephants almond shaped eyes, diminutive tusk, pinched ears, with trunk swayed inward. Antique Chinese bronze fu dog incenser. He is sculpted with great detailing, his head points up with mouth open so that smoke billows from it. The head opens by a hinge to place incense within, and the interior shows old natural patina.

Death mask, made from a thin bronze sheet subtly formed as a man's broad face, chased with eyes, a nose, mouth and rounded cheeks, as well as a mustache. Tiny attachment hole on each side of the top (one missing). Fine slightly encrusted green, blue and red patina. China, Liao Dynasty (907-1125). Height: 18,5 cm. A rare and beautiful 17th century bronze censer, of a proportionally pleasing form with a compressed bulging body raised on a flared foot, with the rim everted and the handles casted as twin Buddhist lion heads...

Chinese bronze censer with handles. Measures 8.5" including handles by 6.75" and 3.5" high. Weight 3.5 lbs. Marked on bottom: Made in Xuande Nian in Ming Dynasty. Dates 1800. Exterior polished.

Length approximately 13.3 cm (across the handle). 3(three) soft dents at the body. 1(one) dent at the base. In good condition.

Chinese guilt bronze buddha, 20th century. A buddha with his hands in mudra, the gesture for meditation. The buddha is seated on a lotus blossom blooming out of another lotus blossom, atop a hexagonal base. It measures 14" tall, 5" wide at base.
