Antique Chinese gilt copper repoussé box with hinged lid. Decorated all over with finely detailed designs of birds in blossoming branches. A phoenix adorns the front and back of the box and white jade carved in the form of three fruits (probably peaches) decorates the lid.

porcelain kuan-yin enameled in iron red and copper green. Green enamel has an unusual iridescent metallic appearance that seems to be peculiar to an era or a production site. The statuette is made in a mold in 2 parts, the joint is visible below. The unglazed parts, at least the base, were covered with lacquer and gold which have disappeared leaving only traces (look photo). I attach the picture of a Guan-Yin with similar green. Usual wear. Good condition. Hight about 7 cm H: 86mm

A Chinese porcelain water pipe made for the Imperial Palace in Hue. Decoration of dragons in cobalt blue underglaze. Below 4 characters in blue and, which is unusual, 4 other characters incised under glassure, perhaps the mark of the potter or the commander. The silver setting of very good quality is a fine example of fine goldsmith's work, it is perhaps -be Chinese but more probably Annamese...

Excellent quality the points are tight and thick for more strength. The decor is extremely rare, it is made up of assembled cubes. Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) painted pottery figure of a slender Central Asian groom with full beard standing with boots attached to a rectangular plinth. He wears a long, belted tunic with open collar and cloth hat. His hands are raised and drilled to hold the reins for a horse. 17 3/8” high. Circa 7th to 8th century. Very good overall condition with traces of black, red, and white pigments remaining. High quality restorations were made to reattach the head and arm...
